I am a graduating student at Middlebury College who is seeking careers in technology and research.

As a software engineer, I spent the past 3 years mastering major coding languages and conducting web-application projects. Adept in a full-stack JavaScript and Python, I have a passion for developing innovative products with my technical skills and cross-functional insights from liberal arts academic background.

As a researcher, I execute research projects with a creative mindset and a holistic approach. I developed qualitative and quantitative skills in digital sociology that study how technology influences the way we live our lives. To draw an accurate conclusion, I utilize diversified research and analysis methods that I acquired from college and working experience, backed up by multiple technical skills in using digital tools and in developing software.

• Attract a wider pool of audience by establishing virtual museum spaces, designing digital storytelling, and integrating advanced technology like VR, AR, and 3D scanning/printing into museum spaces based on user experience research

• Improve the research efficiency and speed by developing reseach mechanism that organizes 500+ artwork data from API of Smithsonian, Nelson-Atkins, and Harvard Museum and refines SQL and CSV files through Open Refine and Gephi

• Induced digital strategies for user experience design of Lotte Digital Omnichannel Service by designing and conducting Service Strategic Planning Workshop that executive members of 19 Lotte Corp affiliates participated in

• Acquired a collaborative research project for 40k sex assault victims in Seoul with Casa Internazionale Delle Donne and Telefono Rosa in Rome by initiating the search, contact, and visit of the institutions

• Trained and mobilized the riot police platoon without causing injuries of officers and protected citizens at Seoul from 1.8 million protestors of Candlelight Revolution, the most massive protest in Korean history that lasted 23 weeks

• Supervised 100 police officers for the security operations of the US, UK, and Russia ambassador residences for 8 weeks

• Monitored the bodyguard operation of the US President and North Korean Officer during their visits

• Awarded by Police Commissioner-General (highest honor) for guiding the platoon safely during the Supreme Court Riot

• Authored a 46,000-word user acceptance report on ‘GoCart,’ the auto-pilot distribution robot developed by Yujin Robo that served visitors at Pyeong Chang Winter Olympic and transported specimens in Eulji Univ Hospital

• Promoted and advertized ‘Design Governance Project’ organized by the Seoul City Government by editing and translating the summary report of the project that helped winning IF Design Award

• Assembled market research data on the electric automobile business in the global market and assessed the Korean government’s response to the growing market in terms of the subsidy
